If you want to know more, please check out the German part of the site.Human Computer Interaction (HCI)I am interested in Human Computer Interaction since 1997. I am working and teaching in this field (see below). I am a board member of the Swiss SIGs Software Ergonomics / SwissCHI and I am a member of Interaction Design Association (IxDA), ACM SIGCHI, UPA, Swiss UPA, and GI Fachbereich Mensch-Computer-Interaktion. JobI work for Zürcher Kantonalbank (ZKB) as a User Centered Design Expert (internal consultant) since 2007. I also work as a lecturer in the field of HCI (see below).Previously I worked for six years at UBS as an Interaction Designer / Usability Consultant. TeachingI am a lecturer at the University of Basel (Faculty of Psychology, Human-Machine Interaction Group) for "Konzeption und Design von User Interfaces I + II" (Interaction Design).At the Master of Advanced Studies in Human Computer Interaction Design (MAS HCID) I teach "User Centered Design I + II", "Conceptual Interaction Design", "Observation", and I coach student projects. UniversityAt University of Zurich I earned a Master of Science (major: psychology, minors: computer science, computational linguistics). I have written my thesis and other papers in the field of HCI (my papers – in German). I have been a tutor for statistics with SPSS and Cognitive Systems Engineering (HCI).Personal LifeI am practicing Qigong and Tai Chi. In winter I like snowboarding the Swiss mountains.
